Social Prescription
Your Garden Companions CIC is designed to work hand-in-hand with NHS social prescribing. Our services are well-suited to referral by Social Prescribing Link Workers, GPs, and other primary care professionals, offering a safe, skilled, and evidenced community activity for patients whose wellbeing would benefit from regular gardening, social connection, and time in nature.
For clients referred through social prescribing, our sessions can be provided free at the point of access, removing any financial barrier to participation. Referrers can expect a straightforward process, timely acknowledgement, and regular informal feedback on a client's progress and engagement.
For Link Workers, we offer a reliable, consistent service with trained practitioners who understand safeguarding, person-centred care, and the importance of continuity, meaning referrals translate into genuine, lasting benefit rather than a one-off activity.
